Walls with Imperfections: If the plaster has waves or small dents (grazing light reveals everything), Deep Matte paint should be used. The zero sheen absorbs light and hides the defect.

Wet Areas: In kitchens and bathrooms, we use water-based enamel with an anti-fungal additive.
